Activision has form when it comes to launching its PC games on Blizzard's platform. Bungie's Destiny 2 came out on Battle.net after it launched on console. It looks like Call of Duty will follow suit.
I wonder if this means the end of new Call of Duty games releasing on Steam. With EA and Activision not releasing new games on Steam, the store catalog is going to start to get watered down. If Ubisoft ever pulls out, then Steam may not be quite so attractive, but I doubt this will happen anytime soon. Ubisoft's games are usually always comfortably placed in the top 100 games list, so Steam looks to be a big benefit to them.
i hate this shit first destiny gets thrown on there and now cod, we will have to rename the app soon i used to be able to open battle.net and say every game in here is a good game then they added destiny.
