If you’re looking for a lot of action like the previous Dynasty Warriors games, you may want to look elsewhere. We don’t mind games trying new things, but you have to keep the audience in mind and for a series known for back-to-back battles, there’s too much downtime in this entry.
Dynasty Warriors has been around for two decades and has more than enough games to prove it.

I just hope they learned their lessons from DW9. The open world feature was personally unnecessary.
