Kefka at number 3... sorry, NOPE

Jaypi032251d ago

Weird, it's almost like they have their own opinions...

Imho
Kefka is FF No. 1 villain
He is like the Joker

His character is so hardcore and diabolical it's disturbing, there is a scene where this man is literally poisoning the water supply 😂😂😂

I think all Final Fantasy games have their own unique bad guys here and there but I believe only this bad guy can people really say was doing the most evil destruction. This man was basically conducting genocides.

@ Edmix
I would like his character fully fleshed out in 3D FFVI Remake
The story of FFVI is the most epic and the most classical.

thats pretty accurate actually, kefka is a deserved third place since Gilgamesh amd Sephiroth are well known. Kefka is too but you know.

Funny how Gilgamesh is more memorable than the final boss, ExDeath. Gilgamesh had a better theme song ;)

Seeing as this list includes optional boss fights, those were always my favourites. Long, epic battles like Ruby/Emerald Weapon, Yiazmat, Shinryu, various Omega/Ultima weapons, Ozma, Nemesis. Those always stood out to me because you had to master the game to beat them.

I always liked Siegfried from FFVI. It was a really cool idea to have you fight the fake one, then come to find there's a real one that's actually strong.

Final Fantasy I Pixel Remaster – Step Back in Time

Gary Green said: It’s interesting to revisit the roots of your favorite franchises to see first-hand what’s changed and what’s stuck around all these years, though perhaps ‘visit’ would be more accurate than ‘revisit’ since apparently, Europe wasn’t worthy of the original six Final Fantasy games the first time around. By the time we started getting ports of these iconic games, we’d already been through the PSOne JRPG golden age. So we’d already seen the best of what Final Fantasy had to offer, while these predecessors looked outdated, unrefined, and (dare I say it) ugly. We aren’t bitter about the delayed releases, honest…

I'd buy it for the Switch but a NA copy runs for $800.
