Microsoft believes that developers should control third-party support.
PCs and Consoles are merging into one
I'm glad they are leaving it to the developers. I also find it interesting they don't disable third party devices such as xim4. If they are going to allow third party devices, why not enable native support so people don't need to shell out $150 for a device to keep up? Its a mess. But I do think it will all merge possibly.
Next! Age of Empires Definitive Edition for Xbox One. *_*
It's gotta happen....right?!
I wouldn't get my hopes up to be honest. I remember reading not to long ago the devs saying they are not interested in bringing it to XB1 as they only want to focus on the PC version. They mentioned something about the controller as well if I remember correctly. Sure they can release it on XB1. But they would have to rework the controls for normal controller and I think this is one of the main reasons they didn't want to do it. It's all good having the XB1 supporting K&M. But I don't think they will allow a game that only works with K&M on a console.
Really intrigued to see what games will be announced for xbox one , that would normally only be a PC game.
I've heard this quote for so many years now. I'm surprised no one hasn't caught on or figure it out yet.
@BadElf I wouldn´t complain of a Divinity: Original Sin 2 port for Xbox One X. :)
Never heard of it. But I'll take it! Need a theme park sim too
K/M is the way to go
All I want is a mainline Civ game.
Do not want to have Xbox and PC cross play, i dont want to have to deal with all the PC cheaters
