In the latest month the Nintendo Switch has moved even closer to the lifetime sales of the Wii U by 4.55 million units. In just 10 months the Switch has nearly caught up with the lifetime sales of the Wii U. The Wii U’s lead has shrunk down to just 193,307 units.
The Wii U launched in November 2012, while the Nintendo Switch launched worldwide in March 2017. The Switch has sold 13.36 million units, while the Wii U has sold 13.55 million units.
