With a new Fire Emblem game coming to the Nintendo Switch, Game Savvy jotted down everything they want to see from a new Fire Emblem game.
For me, I REALLY want to see: 1) Free-roaming around towns/world 2) No Visual Novel scenes It's been decades since we've had a Strategy RPG that really felt like it was truly a complete game, and I blame those two factors.
If they change too much it won't be the core fire emblem franchise we all like
Agreed. I feel the best thing they should do with this series is leave it the way it is if they want to radically alter it simply make a side game.
I really don't think I'm asking for the core of the franchise to change. I'm just asking to flesh it out with a real world to explore, and to actually render and animate the story scenes.
You must didn't even play Awakening or Fates which didn't even have visual novel scenes for the main story all the time.
So? I'm not asking for a few actual story scenes sprinkled in. I want them all to be rendered and animated. By the way, this is exactly the sort of thing that hampers sales.
Well feeling a game is complete is just way way too subjective, this could kind of be said about anything to be honest. The way I see it even though I don't play Fire Emblem I at least respect that the audience that enjoys that series still wants the game that they know and love to be familiar to them. I wouldn't want Fire Emblem to change for someone like me who doesn't play the series because it would actually probably hurt the people who enjoy the way it's already made in the first place. I wouldn't want Fire Emblem to change for someone like me who doesn't play the series because it would actually probably hurt the people who enjoy the way it's already made in the first place. If anything I would argue one of Nintendo's biggest problems in the past was that they were radically changing way too much of their series and maybe the best thing to do is to stay consistent with specific Concepts. Trust me even though I don't play Fire Emblem at least that Community gets to get multiple games where the series is still at its core the same concept. All I have to say is be careful what you wish for in terms of radical changes remember what happened after Star Fox 64? If you gave me 100 Star Fox games that were just like Star Fox 64 I would enjoy that better than what we really got with a slew of just terrible games. Sometimes going with what you know is not that bad. Trust me.
NOTHING should why make an article about the a game you know nothing about
Exactly These articles seriously need to stop getting approved. If I don't know much about the series and I'm interested in getting into it I don't believe I can trust someone that didn't even play the damn game.
Holy crap, dude. It's a wish-list of what they want in the next game. They know what the past games were like, and they know that the next game will be on Switch, so they're stating what improvements to the series they're hoping for.
Making wishlist of things you want in a game you know nothing about is pointless. You don't know what direction they are going to take You don't know the theme of the story and game The concept when they going to implement Why set yourself up for disappoint when you can just wait til the first batch of info and trailer drop.
