Nintendo has been oft criticized lately in the mainstream gaming media for producing an inordinate amount of shovelware. While I have also criticized them for the same thing I'm not blinded by the fact that may be some of those games aren't all that bad. On second thought they are that bad, but I started to think about when a game is truly "good". Shovelware isn'tWill Shovel Ware my cup of tea but I'm sure lots of people, kids and adults alike, are enjoying those very games as we speak. If you were to ask them they might tell you those games are great despite the 5 out of 10 score it received in the latest Game Informer or EGM.
