It's a perfect universe for videogames. It sucks that one publisher has a deal for the license I'd like to see what some other studios could do with it, there needs to be more variety than first person shooters.

i genuinely thought there has been a chance of kotor 3 or a kotor remake over the last 3 years but know i have lost all hope and i'm gutted

I remember when Star Wars games were getting released often, these days we don't get many and the ones we do get are quick cash in's with no heart. 2 rebooted shooters and a mobile game (typical EA)

EA are the most uninspiring gaming company around.

Disney acquiring the star wars franchise has been a very bad thing for the franchise. The games have been awarded to EA who is using it as a cash grab and the movies are scattered and all over the place with so many people working on it. Even the books have gone downhill.

I'm with you on EA getting the rights but I liked Rogue One and The Force Awakens! Haven't seen The Last Jedi but I've seen the prequels and these are so much better IMO!

Um, I agree on the games but you're completely wrong about the movies they have all been fantastic. Can't speak on the books as I haven't read them.

Miss the days off Rogue Squadron and Knights of the Old Republic! Also enjoyed Shadows of the Empire and Force Unleashed(1st one) With EA holding the license I have to pretend there are no new Star Wars games coming because well it's EA and really they are the Empire!

I agree to all of those games, and just add Star Wars Galaxies, Dark Forces and the SNES platformers.

EA have managed to mess everything up.

I really need to try that KOTOR 2 restoration mod out, these games for me are as good as starwars has ever gotten in any form the medium, absolutely timeless

Many of us will continue to wait for great Star wars games.
Is Battlefront 2 great that is made by DICE? No. It is not even close to great.
Is the TOR a fun game? It is fun up to a certain point in the game. I have not played it in a long time.
Is it sad that Star Wars 1313 never got released? Yes. This looked like a really good Star Wars game. We were told that the game is not dead yet, but it is probably dead.

I think the most interesting part of Star Wars games is that the old Battlefront 2 game got an update recently. Is this a shot at EA? It could be. We will see how Disney ends up handling this. I am sure they are still upset with the poor Battlefront 2 sales. Maybe they will actually pull the license from EA? Maybe?

I still feel physically sick when I even glance at my infested copy of SWBF2, ashamed. Selling it soon for tuppence.
