UK Charts: GTA V is back at No.1 226 weeks after it first came out

Is there anyone left that doesn't own Grand Theft Auto V? The game was first released on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2013. It then received a PS4 and Xbox One version 12 months later. It has only dropped out of the Top Ten UK boxed charts 34 times since then, spending 192 weeks within the Top Ten. And now, 226 weeks since it first arrived on the scene, GTA V is back at No.1.

This series has an unprecedented popularity..
I'm not a fan of the series, it's fun for the first 2 hours and I lose it with each episode.

Wow, for me it was good for the first 6 months then got boring quick.been waiting for RDR2 for what seems a life time now.

Well compared to the people still playing this game 5 years after release, 6 months was pretty quick to get bored of it.

It is amazing. The highest grossing game of all time. I can't wait for Red Dead Redemption 2. 👍🏼

They just don't make enough of them nowadays. Back on PS2 they did HEAPS of games. I guess with new technology and rising costs of making a game, those days are long gone. :(
