One of the charges leveled at StarCraft II by those that haven't played the game yet is that, to the naked eye, it looks a whole lot like the first StarCraft. It's tough to fault them for this, of course. Just glancing at a screen shot, it's hard to see what's changed beyond the obvious graphical upgrade. But having been privileged to play the game as much as anyone outside of Blizzard since its announcement in South Korea, GameSpy has found that the proof of the many changes and upgrades Blizzard is implementing can only be felt when one actually goes hands-on. It's at the individual unit level that the true strategy of StarCraft II can be felt, and it's at that level where they found that any changes can be pretty profound.
