NewYork-Tokyo writes: "Mega Man 9 is like a race car that's been stripped down to its barest essentials. From most outward appearances, it's a pile of junk. There's only one seat, the interior is nothing but metal and floorboards and only the most essential of equipment to make the car go forward. Outside, there's a shell that does little more than give the basic shape of a traditional race car. Thankfully, what's under the hood still has enough power to blow almost anything else off the track and that, when it all comes down to it, is what truly matters. As a brash starfreighter pilot once said, "she may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts."
