Outside of the frame rate issues during the more intense areas while in docked mode, it's a great one to pick up if you haven't had a chance to play the earlier system releases.

Maybe it's because some games are better suited for handhelds? Maybe?

I didn't get a chance to play any of the earlier releases. I enjoyed it on the Switch, minus the occasional performance issues when docked. Hopefully a future patch can smooth those areas out.

Eh, this game just isn't very good IMO but it does have mixed reviews. I just felt the mechanic and the platforming very off.

The gameplay does take some getting use to. It's a different approach for sure, but I had a lot of fun with it and the especially appreciated the art style, which is fantastic. While the touch screen controls were a nice addition, I just couldn't use them effectively. As usual, the Pro controller is the way to go.
