A farewell message from the Dead or Alive 5: Last Round team sparked debate on whether the series is continuing or not. Koei Tecmo provided a comment.
From Xfire: "Remember when you'd buy a game and... that was it? You got the full experience by purchasing the full product one time. "
Damn, Train Simulator is costing the big bucks. That game is kinda fun but not if you purchase all the DLC.
"All the DLC - Train Simulator 2020, $10,145"
No wonder we're witnessing an increasing number of ports from PC to consoles, you can't nickel and dime PC owners with all their mods over there, lol
"Legatus Pack - Star Citizen $27,000"
Ouch!
Planet Calypso - Entropia Universe, $6,000,000
WTF...?!
An in-depth interview feature with the developers at Koei Tecmo on the making of, and superstar rise of Marie Rose. From the feature: "For a series infamous for its big-breasted women and pin-up tone to then provide players with an option that so completely embraced cuteness was surely a creative risk. This is particularly true of markets outside of Japan, where people are as a rule far less comfortable with “cute” and “sexy” being in the same proverbial ballpark."
Jahanzeb writes: "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is an example of what not to do when distributing a free-to-play fighting game in this day and age."
I would not mind a new hot babe franchise from these guys
Hope there is more DoA to come in the future
What’s controversial about it? Anybody with a shred of brain cells could figure out they are moving on to DOA6
I'm sure the series will go on hold for a bit before returning. But DOA5: Last Round came out in Feb 2015!! Almost 3 years ago. Go search up the list of every DLC they released, it's insane!! I just scrolled through it all. I think they deserve a break and a chance to do something else.
There better be a DOA6. It's been an amazing fighting game that gets overlooked and not taken seriously.
