Jerry from BagoGames says, "2017 has been an amazing year for games, so much so that many games are being overlooked because there are too many. Yooka-Laylee is one of those games."
It wasn't overlooked imo, it just didn't live up to the hype and quickly faded because of it. Only thing I hear about it nowadays is about the Switch version.
I thought it was pretty good, but it was flawed and could have been better. I'd like a sequel with improvements.
That's actually a good name. Lol
game wasn't perfect but definitely overlooked because the BS about all the reviewers crying about frame drops in specific parts and giving scores before the release date patch which they were aware of. Basically sabotaging the game. Not perfect and some issues should have been fixed way before anything but it's definitely what they set out to make, I want a sequel with more than 5 stages and hopefully no quizes. I hated that part ecery time it came. I always got it in my first try but always just to close.
Yeah, I would have preferred more worlds than the option to expand already-existing worlds. Some of them just became way too big and bare with not a whole lot extra to explore. I did enjoy Yooka Laylee though, and think it was a great introduction to what could potentially become a great series.
