IGN writes: "The latest entry in Capcom's popular survival horror series, Resident Evil 5, has a big presence at Tokyo Game Show 2008. In playable form the kiosks lets players blast through several action-focused scenarios in control of Chris Redfield or Sheva. We had a chance to sit down and play for a while as well as talk with producer Masachika Kawata.
The gameplay sections challenged players to fight through hordes of infected humans in dilapidated urban settings. The game takes place in Africa and Capcom has decided to set at least some parts out in broad daylight, which makes the game at least look quite a bit different from previous versions. In all it seems fairly similar to Resident Evil 4, with the same kind of snap-to over the shoulder aiming and shooting system."
