Change will be a Constant in Star Wars Battlefront II

So, we’re reducing the amount of credits needed to unlock the top heroes by 75%. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader will now be available for 15,000 credits; Emperor Palpatine, Chewbacca, and Leia Organa for 10,000 credits; and Iden at 5,000 credits. Based on what we’ve seen in the trial, this amount will make earning these heroes an achievement, but one that will be accessible for all players.

Good step now remove progression based stuff from lootboxes and let us buy comestics without Microtransactions

It is a good step...despite some odd and unexplicable defense against this kind of new world order for gaming.

Removing any and all progression through randomized loot boxes would be the final step.
I'd like to get rewarded less randomly and based on my gaming performance.

What they didn't mention is that they are also reducing the credit you earn from playing by 75%. They changed the amount of credit you get from completing the campaign from 20,000 to just 5,000. They effectively did nothing.

"Look how cheap we made the Heroes, look at that! No.. no don't look at those microtransactions look at the -75% price drop on heroes... no sir, please ignore the p2w, just focus on how cheap the heroes are now, the game is totally worth 60 bucks now."

If they're changing things so drastically right before launch then we have no way of what else they'll change for better or worse after launch. It seems like they're amateur devs who don't know how to make competent Gameplay mechanics balanced.
