Vanillaware head George Kamitami uses a different metaphor, calling it a "soy sauce-flavored pure Japanese-style piece of work." Hey, whatever you say, dude. Here's the easiest way to describe it, though: It kicks ass, and it's beautiful. The TGS preview build featured a promo screen where the protagonist was seen riding a raft in the shadow of "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" -- go ahead and Google that image and then imagine playing a game that looks like that. Yeah, it's amazing. Overall, Muramasa's visuals actually look even more crisp and vibrant than Odin Sphere's, and I didn't see any hint of slowdown in my 10 minutes of hands-on time".
