coming out February in Japan, North American and European release is in march 3rd same day.
Damn...what a beautiful game.
[email protected] i love JRPG's...
Looking pretty sweet, it will make my perfect B day present :D
I WANT THAT GAME AND THAT TV
My post from Gamersyde: Character models are very nice but the environment textures (mostly the ground) look bad at times. A lot of attention to little detail though, like the clothing. Some of the animations looked swiped from SO3 though. Battle system (different vid) looks EXACTLY like SO3 (not good in my book) Sure does get a lot of pretty points though.
Awesome! the finest looking RPG to date IMO
PS3 owners...we are getting raped :( Hope this comes on PS3 down the line 360 is looking really nice for Japanese gamers right now...
While I love the fact that a new Star Ocean is so close, it really pisses me off that I'll have to play it on the 360. I can't fathom how Tri-Ace can be so inconsiderate to Playstation owners who have bought their games in the past. There's no reason why this game should be exclusive at all.
With the remakes on the PSP I think it'll be ported down the road. Right now tri-ace is still in the "PS3 is too hard to makes games for" group with Valve, last two in there.
They already said that they would probably do a PS3 version if the 360 version did well, which I couldn't see why it wouldn't. But w/ M$ waving their good ol' money bags around, SE very well could keep this a 360 exlusive being the greedy bastards SE have become.....
"I can't fathom how Tri-Ace can be so inconsiderate to Playstation owners who have bought their games in the past." Tri-Ace doesn't know which PS2 owners bought a PS3 or 360. Your point has been smashed!
and eu :(
for a second it reminded me of phantasy star universe
I was thinking the same think, or phantasy star in general
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time was incredible... I don't expect much from this one. They've changed a lot. I still say WKC owns this thing...
"I don't expect much from this one. They've changed a lot." hmmm Riiight, funny I already have heard the same from DJ. I seen WKC's trailer but it didn't look like this game. I liked the beginning of that trailer but that characters weren't as polished. The characters actually reminded me of Infinite Undiscovery.
Looks like my gaming needs are set for 2009. After Killzone 2, nice to switch up the pace and play this bad boy in March.
Hours have passed and no Knob end comments....................
http://www.n4g.com/events_t... You look a little pale all of a sudden. Is that the face of someone who...just got OWNED?
lol, the only people geting owned are fantart brandwhores, and they are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to gamers. Kinda like bottom feeders, feading off the sh*t of the gaming media. That link just shows that more people will be able enjoy the game, that is all.
thats some serious sh!t makes all the other jrpgs released up to now look petty. lucky u guys
Fable II is more my cup of tea.....but I have to admit that did look pretty fckin sweet. JOY
the gameplay looks insane, also any star ocean fans know that u cudnt jump in the other ones, this one i heard u can jump and some characters can jump higher, which will make for some insane combo's. graphics r amazin, the only thing that worries me is if this game is gonna be short, i'll be furious if it is!!!!!! star oceans always shud be 200+ hours with all side quest and stuff, cant wait
This game looks nice. I didn't play the previous Star Ocean on the PS2, simply because I never got around to it, and I have alot of current generation games to play on the PS3, and 360. I'm looking forward to this game.
