So glad they finally made the combat tolerable after 8 games.

That is good to hear. The last one I played was II. Enjoyed it, but the combat was totally unsatisfying. Like it was an afterthought.

the combat kinda resemble For Honor a little bit

Will check it out when it goes on sale, too many good games coming out at the same time!

I feel you, I got Shadow of War I haven't touched, still haven't beaten the Witcher 3 completely, HZD's DLC is dropping, haven't beaten Persona 5, Destiny 2 DLCs about 2 months away....and I'm never gonna finish anything

I've not played an assassin creed game for years. Looks pretty good, but is it just like every other one in terms of missions, towers etc?

the biggest difference i've noticed besides just the combat is the amount of side stories there are. It kind of changes the dynamic, sure there are towers and assassination missions but it's more well rounded this time out. Probably the best one if you're gonna buy a assassins creed game. I can't stress enough how much nicer the combat is this go around. I've only put in 4 hours of game time though.

Cool. I'll have a look at some game play videos. The series got really stale for me after the 2nd. Cheers for the info.
