these are pretty high. i7 3770 sounds too high for minimum.

I agree given the game is supposedly targeting 60fps on PS4 and Xbox One.

Isn't the ps4 and xbox one equipped with a i7 if not above processor? Although the ghz isn't high on them Im pretty sure the ps4 was like a 8 core cpu. Games are now starting to target more cores in development

No, the CPU is by the far the weakest part in both consoles. The minimum on the AMD side for this game is a $120-$130 FX 8350 8 core 4.0-4.2 GHz, the one in the PS4/Xone is a Jaguar CPU 8 core 1.6/1.7GHz. The higher requirements probably has to do with optimization or exaggerating it a bit, the CPU difference between min & recommended is quite small.

Especially next to an 8350

Looking forward to playing this on the max settings.

Not expecting too much problems here in compability. Should be a good lunch.

Everyone should use Vulkan and just drop DX 12. Vulkan can be used on Android, Linux, Windows ( and not just 10), etc. I still run Win 7 x64, no reason to upgrade for me now, plus lazy to reinstall everything again :D CPU req is high but not GPU, weird. Using a 3770k+GTX1080 so no worries. Same engine as Doom, so it will run smooth.

8350 isn’t high though, sounds like a lack of testing.
