Destiny 2 meets the basic requirements necessary to be called a full and proper sequel rather than a glorified expansion, but falls into the category of unsatisfying sequel that “fixed” all of the wrong things.
I think it’s a great game.
The mechanics and gameplay is good in both Destiny games.... But it has fundamentally two problems: 1) I don't want to play the same game over and over again for the next X years 2) I don't want to have to keep feeding my character like a hamster in a wheel running forever but never really doing anything. Part of the excitement of games is completing them fully and then waiting to get the next great release. Whether it is Uncharted, Halo, Zelda, Dark Souls, Witcher, etc. The essence of gaming is being able to say I completed the game and there is nothing left to do... After completing the Destiny games it feels more like, "What did I accomplish here really?"
Damn dude. In a nutshell! So true. And I have both games.
Bring back random rolls. I hate Fixed rolls!
