PS4 vs Xbox One in the US – VGChartz Gap Charts – August 2017 Update

In August 2017 the gap in the US between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One grew in favor of the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 sold 72,610 more units than the Xbox One in the last month. The PlayStation 4 sold 792,062 more units in the last year. The PlayStation 4 currently leads by 2.51 million units.

The PlayStation 4 launched in the US on November 15, 2013, while the Xbox One launched on November 22, 2013. The PlayStation 4 has sold 19.82 Million units, while the Xbox One has sold 17.31 million units.

The Gap is getting wider, not just in hardware but in software as well.

I know right. The One X is Microsoft last opportunity to close the gap. But I doubt that will happen because no new AAA exclusives

Ps4 is destroying Xbox in its territory making it a PlayStation nation. I saw some people celebrating a newer console being more powerful than an older console but the reality of the Xbox sales dwindling is ignored by the fanatics. It's PlayStation domination across all nation

If Microsoft can't sell the xbos at $250 with high numbers, people should really put their expectations in check on how the xbox will sell at $500.

Exactly, in the UK it's £450 the game bundles are £499 it's too expensive.
