Virtro Entertainment – the female-led VR indie game studio out of Vancouver, Canada, have announced the release of Run Dorothy Run – an immersive endless-runner and rhythm VR game, with a cheeky take on the classic novel, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.” The game is being released on PSVR in the Fall, with other platforms to follow shortly after.
Run Dorothy Run takes the world of OZ and turns it into 17 stages of endless rhythm running. Is this unqiue take on OZ worthy of a trip?
Each week Sony brings PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable owners new content, add-ons, games and more.
Run Dorothy Run was originally announced last year with a December release date before being hit with a last-minute delay. Since the announcement of the game’s delay there has been no word on a release date, until today that is.
another indie vr title. sigh. big fan of vr but i'm sick and tired of these proof of concepts. it is about time a proper studio produced a proper vr experience. no one wants to take the risk because a failure could mean the end of a smaller studio. frankly, though, this is not my problem as a customer. produce somethjng worth the while, do a proper market research and for the sake of it, let vr mature already. stupid indie pseudo vr game producers.
