God of War combat designer worked on Quantum of Solace

Good news for those of you looking forward to upcoming Bond game Quantum of Solace - developer Treyarch drafted in the services of the God of War combat designer to make sure the QTE melee combat was up to scratch.

The man in question is Derek Daniels, who was added to the Quantum of Solace team to ensure the quick time event-based melee combat was enjoyable, responsive and very straightforward. The PlayStation exclusive God of War series, as we all know, is one of the best action titles of the last generation, with QTE combat to die for. (James Bond : Quantum of Solace, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
