A New Horizon For Gaming | Horizon Zero Dawn - InfoGamer

Horizon Zero Dawn is quite frankly, a fantastic game, and with March of this year being a month of fantastic games, I have no doubt Horizon will shadow all of them (Well, maybe not Zelda.) The game was announced all the way back at E3 2015 and generated a lot of ’buzz’, mainly …

I really like the game world, and story, but after a few hours the game was boring. If the story wasn't so good I wouldn't have beaten it. Though its the first run for Gorilla at an open world game so I'm VERY excited for HZD2.

Only advice I would give Gorilla is dont make gear purchased, make it found, and make a lot more of it. you have a real opportunity here with this game to make some amazing looking gear.

What? Lol ok

OT: probably my number 1 game this generation so far. Looking forward to 'The Frozen Waste' expansion.

Boring? Totally disagree. It was amazing. Try playing it on Hard or Very Hard next time. Running into any area and mowing down enemies easily, is boring. Having a legit challenge in a game like this makes combat exciting.

Even on normal it's great. Interesting characters and plot, great combat against fantastic enemies( the machines of course, not the humans), beautifully crafted world to run around in with side quests that aren't super boring. There was very little wrong with this game. Just all round fantastic.

@ ninsigma, Near the end of the game I wished I had more people to talk to and more things to do. One of the only open-world games that I've ever wanted MORE side quests. Just such an amazing game.

ninsigma348d ago

Same here. I usually stay away from open world games and side quests are a big reason why. With HZD I wanted to do as much as I possibly could because they managed to make every part of the game interesting.

The world has cool enemies but seems very lifeless after you spend a few hours in it and get used to seeing mechanical deer. See games like Fallout, and The witcher. Deep full open worlds.

This is the best game this year and one of the best this gen. I'm really looking forward to the frozen wilds!

I thought there is a limit to writing reviews months after release?

SickSinceSix348d ago

Obviously not, there's a review of a 2011 PSP game on the second page right now for me.

It is a good but too repetitive although the ai is great.
