Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus: 5 Reasons Why You Should Be Excited

Richard Bailey Jr. of The Koalition writes: On October 27th, hardcore gamers and gaming enthusiasts alike will experience the single biggest video game release day of the year when Super Mario Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed: Origins and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus all launch globally at the same exact time. While Mario and Assassin’s Creed are fantastic franchises that will garner the most attention, Sweden based development studio MachineGames is out the prove that Wolfenstein also rightfully deserves its place among this Fall’s list of most anticipated games.

During PAX West 2017, I finally got the opportunity to spend some hands-on time with The New Colossus and was instantly reminded why I fell in love with the previous entry in this action-packed series. The sequel is jam-packed with several elements that will make it a must play title for both new and returning fans of the franchise. This is without a doubt one of my most anticipated games of 2017. Very curious to see the end results of everything that MachineGames has learned from developing the previous games.

I seriously cannot wait for this game. The review makes me very happy.

Aside from the whale-on-stick-figure action during one part of the games' story, it looks like an excellent title and I'm more than willing to give it a chance.
Might wait to read a few user reviews that aren't a 10 or a 0 first, though. A 7 or 8 score may have the best balance of viewpoints for the games' pros and cons.

I picked this over Shadow of War
Hopefully I made the right choice

I also have South Park and AC in the same month already preordered but I’ll make time for Wolfenstein 2 because the first one was amazing

I think the decision to choose this over Shadow of War is totally understandable and it's a hard decision man lol I have no doubt every game you mentioned will be awesome but the fact all these games are coming out at the same time is a little crazy. Some games will definitely have to be played at a later time.

I couldn't possibly be more excited for this game. I forsee it easily landing amongst my personal GOTY contenders, alongside the likes of H:ZD, Prey (I know, not the most popular opinion) , Nier, and The Lost Legacy.
