From PlayStation Universe: "The developer behind God of War has provided some new insight into the game's combat, including comparisons to FIFA and the impact of lack of QTEs. Read up on the PS4 action title below."
Now that Death Stranding has landed on iOS, here are five other PS4-era blockbusters that we'd love to have to play on our iPhones at any time.
Like the film or television industry, the world of gaming has seen its fair share of reboots over the years. While some of these video game reboots have had
What if we told you that the future of the God of War franchise might just lie in the hands of Kratos’ young son, Atreus?
Might be in a minority here but I didn't enjoy any of the sections playing as Atreus or having companions at all. If I had my way it'd be Kratos on his lonesome from start to finish. Straightforward action gameplay without the endless boring chatter.
FIFA is annual series and God Of War series aren't. Yes, they do have popularity. Calling the game is milking franchise only they stay the same with gameplay. But here the thing, the new God Of War is completely different than the old one. The gameplay is huge departure from the old one. Sony Santa Monica never call God Of War 4, but rather call God Of War because it's a soft reboot. The new God of War isn't going to be ground breaking but it will be breathtaking. And I'm looking forward to it.
Not sure how I feel about the move from QTEs. God of War is the only game series I excuse for QTEs and that is because it does them perfectly. I have been a bit concerned of that Spartan Rage (press R3 and L3) seen in the first teaser. I much rather press buttons than just watch a mini cutscenes like in previous games, but I still don't know how that Spartan Rage exactly works. I'll see!
i fully support cory in everything. he is the one that knows best i think and probably one of the most enthusiastic people ever for their own creation. if he feels the project is going in the best direction it could then it does.
The whole lack of QTEs is a great step forward. Well I haven’t played it but it sounds great.
Can't wait to have Kratos kick soccer balls into enemies heads, making them explode, blood spewing everywhere
