Why do you downplay mario kart so much? Becouse most racers are serious(and boring) that doesnt make them any better. Mario kart is the best racer for me and my gf and friends like it very much too. I had the g25 and these serious racing games and no1 was interested.

To be fair, the author did say how accessible the Mario Kart series is unlike some other racing games.
