Ninja Theory's "AAA indie" title Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice managed to beat the competition and rise to the top of August's bestseller list on the European PlayStation Store in August.
Congrats, Ninja Theory !
I hope they'll do a physical release for this game.
I'm sure it will, my friend.
Played the PC version, great game.
Played the PS4 version, same game.
Well of course you did. We all know you wouldn't play it on your PS4 that you "own".
Congrats Team Ninja for creating this wonderful game.
Team Ninja didn't work on this game ,that dev team belongs to Tecmo Ninja Theory worked on this game
Team Ninja created Ni-Oh, not Hellblade
Im playing through hellblade now and it's damn impressive. Thanks Ninja theoy
It was an excellent game from start to finish. Thank you Ninja Theory!
you're lying... Exclusives dont matter, it's all about the multiplats.../s lool
Not an exclusive though since it's available on PC.
Loved the game, but i think that Ninja Theory makes only good games.
Strange. I'm the only one of my friends that has played it.
Sharply it or game share it. More people need to play this game
I could...but definitely not shareplay; I know everyone on my friend's list, but some of them are incurable pranksters, so I don't quite trust them lol. As for gamesharing, I've yet to try that on PS4. I heard they have to be signed in to your account on a non-primary console to play. True? Side bar: people really love abusing the agree and disagree buttons. It's a fact -- not opinion -- that no one else on my friend's list has it. I regularly check some games to see if any of my friends also play it. At the time of this writing, no one else has Hellblade. I do, they don't. I'm sure a part of that is the fact that I only have 52 friends, but I also don't add anyone I don't know personally.
They would have to be primary account user or else any time they log on to play you would be unable to play that or any digital game as you would be signed out
Glad it got the support from the PS4 gamers. I hope we get to see more of ninja theory!
Sucks that epic games lawbreakers didn't chart.
"Y la proxima ves..."
Great game. If you haven't played it yet, make sure you do with good headphones.
They deserve it. Great game and amazing commitment to detail. Well done!
Great news, and well deserved! The game is both audibly and visually stunning. The combat is so so to me, but everything else the game has going for it is top notch.
the combat is pretty shallow, but I don't think the combat is the main focus of the game.
"but I don't think the combat is the main focus of the game." Then no thanks. What is the main focus of the game if it isn't gameplay/combat?
The story, proper representation of psychosis. Visual and auditory details. Gameplay is great too as it builds in the narrative design and elements of psychosis in a way that people who don't deal with it can understand
@nevin1: the story. there's nothing particularly wrong with the combat that's there, it's just not what anyone would call "deep." it's a solid game altogether. the production quality alone outshines a lot of the AAA games that are on the market right now.
Gotta admit for a "walking simulator" that's impressive. I know I enjoyed the game from start to finish.
Did you play the same game as I did?
Yea umm maybe I should have been clearer. I was being sarcastic. Lot of people gave the game slack for areas with lack of combat. I had absolutely no problem with it and combat picked up at the end of it anyways. It was an amazing game to me.
@DaGreatOne Ahhh. Gotcha. I agree. Personally, I thought the game was an amazing experience. Especially with headphones on.
Yea I literally went out and bought the platinum headset for the 3d audio in this game. And to hear all those voices was just chilling.
@DaGreat I did the exact same thing. Hahaha Seriously though, there is 2 completely different versions of the game. The version without headphones on, and the version WITH headphones on. This game with headphones immersed me so much, and was unlike anything I have ever played. Add to the fact that I am in love with Norse mythology, Vikings, Elder Futhrak, etc, I was blown away. Really emotional for me too. I was glad they picked the character they did too. She was perfect.
