Square Enix announces its livestream schedule for Tokyo Game Show 2017, including three unannounced events.
Project Octopath Traveler (Switch) – Theater, Studio AWW YEAH!!
One of the Switch games I've really been waiting to hear about! Here's hoping it's pretty far along in development!
It probably is. Since it as at the Preview Event. Silicon Studio has all their engine on Switch fully supported and been developing for Switch early because Square Enix was there early like Tokyo RPG Factory.
@OtakuDJK1NG-Rory, They tend to release about a game every 3 years, so it looks like it should be coming out sometime next year. Evidently people don't think I'm excited to hear about it or they hope the game isn't far along in development, LOL Honestly, I don't care if the game is exclusive or anything, it just looks like an awesome game and I love classic JRPS's. The artstyle is also much better than a lot of the chibbi stuff they've been going with lately. The developers also have a great track record. Any JRPG fan should be excited for the game.
I normally don't like pixel art, but I'm really looking forward to this game. It looks beautiful and unique.
Awesome. Can't wait for their latest announcements of DLC, pre-order bulls**t, microtransaction, cash-shop items, and downright retarded business practices!
If the FF7 remake isn't shown at this year's TGS, then that spells bad news for the development.
Probably at sonys psx seems perfect place or sonys tgs
As if we're getting the full game let alone first disc anytime soon
I'm really not excited for it, so I don't really have expectations for it, I even forget it exists.
Square Enix is a perfect example of a company that is self-destructing. I'm not getting excited for any more of their games until I see a final polished product with good reviews
