Games32: Bionic Commando Rearmed Review

Games32 writes: "Twenty years after Bionic Commando first hit the stores with huge success, Grin comes out with an outstanding remake that surpasses the original in every way imaginable and firmly establishes itself as the best Arcade game of the moment. While using the advanced technologies around which complex games are being built these days, the developer brilliantly succeeds in preserving the essence of the authentic Bionic Commando, making this game a beautiful reminiscent of it's era, rather than a lone survivor of a dying breed.

Rearmed is exactly what a remake should be and more, while it retains the classic level design, a very similar plot and a gameplay virtually untouched, somehow manages to cut down the redundant aspects without losing the depth and complexity that granted Bionic Commando a firm place in the Arcade industry. Even though the tracks that play throughout the game remain very loyal to their source material these old tunes create an appropriate mix that fits in beautifully." (Bionic Commando Rearmed, PC) 85/100
