Racing games are a genre that often needs to build on the foundations of their predecessor and often reinvent the wheel (no pun intended) to innovate.
Might check this one out on PC.
But u hate Microsoft why give them money
As long as it is on PC and not Xbox he might be ok with it. Still, the money will go to MS either way.
You most who complain about Microsoft would still play their games right?? They just don't want Xbox. Two different things.
You dont have to like Microsoft to enjoy Xbox or PC. You dont have to like Xbox or PC to like Microsoft. You dont have to like Xbox to enjoy PC and vis versa. You can purchase anything from Microsoft and still hate them. Microsoft will accept the cash regardless of your feelings towards them. Its just business.
I don't think most people care about MS getting money, except the MS super fans, it seems to be their number one concern. In fact, I'd be encouraging it if I thought it would help them make the Xbox better, though I'm not so sure it would matter.
I don't really like MS that much, but I'll support them when they make products I want to buy. How else would they know that there are people who are interested in those products if one doesn't buy them. It's easy enough to complain, but not showing support is just as important as showing support when it's what you want if you want actual change.
Where did I say I hate Microsoft, show me my post where I said that?
What hardware do you have on your pc?
The kind that can play Forza 7 in 4K at ultra settings.
"Forza Motorsport 7 Is Microsoft's 'ONLY' Killer Game of 2017" fixed
Was going to say this myself. The other problem is project cars 2, f1 2017 and gt sport 2017 are also releasing around the same time so that won't help with sales of the game.
That's true but it's healthy competition at the same time. Forza has its dedicated fans so it'll still sell well enough. And if overall it does get overshadowed by all the other racers this year then I could only imagine turn 10 will kick it up a notch again for Forza 8 to make sure it doesn't happen again. As it stands though 7 looks very nice and I think it'll stand up well with the other racers.
it depends though. the last Project Cars left a bit of a bitter taste with gamers in general considering how it was buggy and perform less optimal than the promised 60fps on consoles and then shortly after release they blatantly announced that they are gonna move on to PC2...with the original game still need fixing and contents! I don't know about others but I was like WTF? not enough scamming people for the 1st and they already committed to scam people the 2nd time? ALREADY?
True, much better title
Forza Motorsports is also Microsoft's killer game of 2015, 2013, 2011, 2009, etc... Surely this will be the year Forza becomes a system seller ...
Forza 5 is the reason I bought my Xbox One.
@Imgumby You were better off with Forza 3 and 4, 5 was terrible.
I think Forza is the king of racing games but it isn't a system seller.
because they launch somekind of Forza every single year. A casual goes to the shop and see a much cheaper forza and buys it. You can get Forza 5, Forza 6 and they are launching Forza 7. Then you still got Forza Horizon 2 and Forza horizon 3. Only COD can get huge numbers every year because of the die hard fans of the multiplayer. A racing game can never achieve that. This will reach 2 to 2.5 millions.
Well, honestly, I still don't have an Xbox One and if I get one it's because of the racing games.... Then again I'm not most people I suppose....
I might get into to the npd top 10 this time around... Forza 6 sure didn't. Time for the Xbox gamers to buy this game.
What the hell are you doing on NPD? You putting your ass for sale???
*it Autocorrect never mind
I haven't played a racing game in over a decade. Probably closer to 15 years, maybe longer. I'm not into cars, don't even own one. The graphics look fantastic, though. I may have to give a modern racer a try.
Hahahaha yet another forza 😂😂
And how many GT's have there been? Except your latest offering has barely more tracks than Forza 5 had and that was a rushed title for X1 launch and got slaughtered for its lack of circuits. Who's laughing now, troll.
What does GT have to do with this article?
Because Wasim is a well known Sony troll on N4G and his troll statement is ironic considering his favoured plastic toy also has a racing series that has seen many versions. Happy?
With Forza 7,Gran Turismo Sport and Need for Speed Payback I'll get my racing quota for a long long time. Maybe it's finally time to invest in a race setup...
I've already played the arse off 5 and 6 so im burnt out on Forza, wheel spin pun intended...
Shame its gonna end up in 3rd place.
ONLY Killer Game of 2017.
Microsoft is like a boxer who is about to get knocked out so he leans on the ropes and swings in desperation. They are in a critical state.
And what a killer it is! It's going to be awesome.
That is sad.Me think microsoft don't get shit together they will leave console bisness sooner then later?
forza is Xboxes killer game Again
Hell yeah! you know how everyone wants racing games, specially the one that is basically released every year!
I think that if you are a fan of racing games, you would appreciate the yearly offerings similar to sports games. I don't see how giving racing fans more options is a bad thing.
Exactly! if you ar a fan of racing games only! It is incredible that this is the only AAA excusive the xbox will get in the entire year!
@Quimicomortal, But it's not the only AAA game that the xbox will get the entire year. There's a ton of those as well. Edit: ok, I get it. If exclusives are all that you play then yes, you have a point.
I'm a racing fan, and while I can play a racing game for a long time, I'd get really burned out with a sequel every year. MS mixes it every other year between Forza and FH though, which play differently, but still, too much racing becomes tiresome. I'm sure there are those who are OK with it every year like with sports games, but the majority don't buy sports games every year, they may buy them every 2-3 years, so it's kind of a rotating audience, or just new people who pick it up whenever. It's not so much that it's a bad thing that they're offering it, it's more that F7 is now their "killer game of 2017"....mostly because it's about the only big game they have coming out. Forza games are quality games, but if you play racing games one would be primarily of two types outside the yearly investors. Those that play it some, and likely still have plenty of content to get through by the time the next one rolls around. Or those who play it to get as much content as possible, in which case, they'd likely be burned out, or not done by the time the next one releases. For me, GT has traditionally been the game where I'd play it forever to get as much content from it as I can. After I get to a certain point, I don't even want to play another racing game for a while, so the 3 odd years between GT releases has worked OK for me.
It’s their ONLY killer game of 2017... That’s sad.
When the 7th entry of a RACING game is your "killer game"? You've got trouble.
Wow, that's really sad.
Will the best racing game of the year so...not a bad thing to have on your side
You mean Microsoft's Only game of 2017
If the title of this article is true then the MS really is in trouble.
