EB: The biggest thing in gaming news over the past couple weeks has got to be the fiasco with Shadow of War. If you haven't heard, it goes a little something like this.
They've lost a day one sale from me because of them. Will wait for a $19.99 complete edition.
Yeah first game went for sale quickly.
Same here. I was so pumped for sequel after playing 1st game. After these MT in sp campaign was announced i was like no more than 20$ i'm spending on this
They ruined a marvelous series with their greedy plans. Now they are living the justified hate to them an the game. My god we are talking here about a single player RPG experience ruined with microtransaction. For god sake this are consoles not phones!!
ill be giving this a miss as well
We are "boiling frogs". "A fool and his money are soon parted." I could go on. Where's the actual value? If any of us really wanted to bypass playing a game - you know, the actual reason for buying a game - simple FREE cheat codes used to bring all of us "I work hard and have a life" gamers time saving unlocks just fine before. Not seeing the difference except now they want to charge for cheats. No thanks. I'll go to Vegas if money is burning a hole in my pocket and I hate Vegas. At least I can get a half a buzz on free watered down scotch while I throw away my money into the ether. EDIT: spelling
Wait to ruin a good game WB greedy scum, thats a no more than 20$ buy for me (probably used so WB gets no money from me), adding pay-to-win loot boxes to a single player campaign tends to do that! Also with all that bullshit about microtransactions and them making shelob into a generic woman makes me think the story will be rubbish like the first game I think the game will be no more higher on metacritic than first.
