Because Sega hates you all! That and unfortunately Japanese games don't sell as well as they use to.

No, its just that because some exec thinks that JP games don't sell, never sold as well as COD, that PSO itself will never have COD numbers like it does in Japan, it wont be released outside of Japan or Asia.

With likely someone else in the West thinking its too Asian for America while never regarding that its potential Western audience is into JP things.

huh, games like this never sold well outside japan.

Persona 5 was the top selling game of tall time from a Japanese developer. So, I'm not sure the problem is the geographic location.

Nah, its just the (old) big publishers like Sega, Capcom, Konami, and parts of Square Enix that don't understand the Western market or the gaming industry as a whole anymore.

How is it taunting me if it is a theme released on the Japanese PS Store? I'm not sure I see the connection.

lol sega knows exactly how to make fans mad, from PSO2 to losing bayonetta publishing rights for multiplatform release, I don't want to know how much these execs make there that make these awful decisions.

Bayonetta is and always will be Sega. Nintendo finished 2, so they got to publish it. Sega could make 3 and put it anywhere they want. Pso was released multiple time in the West, but how have they performed vs. Cost of operating servers. While there is love for it in the West, I can understand the business decision.

Pso2 is already available, I played it here in the west, they had everything translated and readable as text. They just choose to keep the servers closed to other regions.

I feel as if Sega is just messing with us.
