Erik Kain: "There was an update for the Wii U recently. That's...surprising, to say the least."
Balatro has proven popular since it launched in February, and has taken no time at all to reach a huge milestone for any indie game.
"The Gateshead-based (the UK) indie games publisher Coatsink and Canada-based indie games developer Bunnyhug, are today very happy and proud to announce that their fishing RPG “Moonglow Bay”, is coming to Playstation (PS5 and PS4) and the Nintendo Switch via digital stores on April 11th, 2024" - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection does the bare minimum for two multiplayer classics, at a price point too steep to justify.
It'd be somewhat relevant to me if it had a price cut. Everywhere I look online has its price being the same as you could get a PS4 or XO.
Hell Wii U is the first console where it's price was the same as its successor hitting the market.
"What's a Vita?" "What's a Wii U?" ..................... Two systems I really enjoyed :(
At Christmas I read reports of Switch coming out soon and Wii U being hard to get, so I got one off of ebay Nintendo store for $200. My kids who don't really know the difference thought it was awesome as an upgrade for the wii. I finally got to the holy grail of being 1 gen back!
If you tune out all the noise and just take the Wii U as it is, its a damn fine console. So many amazing games that I enjoyed so much. Seeing the end of the Wii U is like seeing the DreamCast die all over again. And I predict that just like Sega's last console, it will be long remembered and spoken of fondly. Super Mario 3D World, Smash Bros 4 and Bayonetta 2 will stand the test of time.
Whilst the majority well forget the Wii U, the Ninty fans who swear by it certainly won't.
