Despite its similarity to other games, Jewel Quest is still incredibly addictive, and even though you can get it for free on your computer, the DS version boasts portability and stability. The ace up its sleeve, however, is the story – a hokey Indiana Jones-alike tale of lost love and ancient mysteries in Africa. It's utterly irrelevant but the static cutscenes are brilliant in their overwrought silliness. Was that intentional? Who cares?
