While the company is slowly becoming more open to different payment models, Nintendo hasn't fully written off the one-time-fee method favored by the inaugural mobile Mario title.
If they had added controller support and not made it an endless runner I would have picked it up. I have no interest in auto running games.
Garbage games that try to gouge you for money are the cancer of videogames.
The game was far too expensive for what it was. $10 for an hour or less of content isn't acceptable. Especially on mobile where successful games are typically $5 or less.
Eh I would prefer if they drop mobile altogether.
