"Hysteria (noun): exaggerated or uncontrollable emotion or excitement, especially among a group. In psychiatry- a psychological disorder whose symptoms include conversion of psychological stress into physical symptoms, selective amnesia, shallow volatile emotions, and overdramatic or attention-seeking behavior. The term has a controversial history as it was formerly regarded as a disease specific to women.
The brief vocabulary lesson may seem out of place, but will become important very shortly. But first, let us move back just a tad. The epidemic of hype has always been prevalent in mainstream popular culture, but has seen exponential growth with the dawning of communication connections such as the internet, and later, social media. The showcase of something new and innovative in a medium that millions of people are passionate over and dedicated to for one reason or another is bound to excite. The intensifying sensation of exhilaration and anticipation grow as the days tick away to the release of said new product." -- PlayStation Enthusiast

Speak with your wallet!
I'm trying to decide if it's worth holding onto my psvr 2. I enjoy what it has currently, but it seems unlikely to get anything else. Might be better off just waiting for something with more support if that ever comes.
GT7 surprised me, because I hate racing games, but i poured 100 hours into it way too quickly.
I’m looking forward to the Metro VR game this year, and I hope that WW2 dogfighter game releases eventually.
I have most of them 😅
Waiting for a sale on Synapse and Arizona Sunshine 2.....also Metro coming this year looks great.

It's simple really, just don't believe the hype.
Hype tends to get out of control, and gamers can be just as guilty as the media in causing this. Sometimes it is difficult to not get caught up in it.
