Not really seeing a strong correlation between the score and the written text because there's tons of praise to be found here. They say it's a high quality remaster that improves everything from the graphics to the controls. They say that it's good value for money and Crash still has a lot of charm, but a problem is that it's simplistic now as it was in the 90s.
Vicarious Visions were true to the originals going above and beyond. A true labor of love. Can't wait to play.

When the originals came out i was a young teen and "to mature" to play a kids platformer. Now I get to play it on PS4 with my daughter. We both loved R and C.
