I like Monster Hunter and I'll probably be picking this up sooner or later but I don't think it will be a must buy day one for me. I hope this has a strong Single player campaign because if it's purely multiplayer then I won't be picking it up.

WTf Capcom? the feelinig and the art direction is good very similar ot originals.....why you made this non canon, casual friendy ?....MonHUn is niche title by default no matter the changes will never meet the recognision it deserves ...why fing change it??/

Looks good to me. I'm sure it will please die-hard fans of the series like me. What I love about Monster Hunter is the fact that the game is all about the gameplay, it's mechanics, strategies and cooperative aspect. It's less about a tiresome story like many other games or limited gameplay-mechanics and lack of good multiplayer. It's kind of videogamey and not as pretentious as many other franchises, it relies mostly on pure gameplay, cooperativeness and long-term motivation ... and it can be really challenging at times, that's another good thing in my book. It's the sort of balanced challenge that I really adore (like Dark Souls). You have to be a little bit patient and strategic, never loose your hope once you'll loose against the first more challenging beasts, but once you get pass through them you will be rewarded with endless satisfaction and goodies that will help you to master the even more difficult tasks in the game. You feel like the f...... king once you have killed all those bastards (especially those elder dragon things).
