QTE? the rumor from 4chan was right, i'll save money for xx switch version, switch not cheap in my country.

littlezizu2494d ago

XX Switch version not getting localized as already announced. Good luck waiting for switch version of 3ds games which not getting localized while Global audience enjoy Next gen MH on Consoles and pc.

MVGeneral2494d ago

Haha Nintendo lost an exclusive. How pathetic.

feraldrgn2494d ago

At what point in the video was the QTE? I don't feel like searching through 24 minutes.

Juras2494d ago

Just salty eyes mislead with button guide.

MVGeneral2494d ago

Don't listen to these nintendards, they're just salty they lost an exclusive to a superior console.

CrimsonWing692494d ago

Looks cool to me, I'll give it a shot.

MilkMan2494d ago

I like Monster Hunter and I'll probably be picking this up sooner or later but I don't think it will be a must buy day one for me. I hope this has a strong Single player campaign because if it's purely multiplayer then I won't be picking it up.

EddieNX 2494d ago

Why the hell have they took the underwater combat away? One of my favorite aspects of the game. Still getting...

Zjet2494d ago

They took underwater out since Ultimate 4 came out, X/Generations dosen't have it nor does XX

EddieNX 2494d ago

I burnt myself out on the Wiiu one so havent played the others yet... Will be playing this and whatever comes to Switch

naruga2494d ago

@Ediie NX i will DAMN TOTALLY AGREE

naruga2494d ago (Edited 2494d ago )

also alot of casual changes here ...
1 Instant Return to base ..wtf ,...this like healing whenever you want

2 Bow is Casual friendly now with quick succession of soots ....very bad -idiotic change here ..as bow in Monster Hunter was a git gud weapon not for anyone

WTf Capcom? the feelinig and the art direction is good very similar ot originals.....why you made this non canon, casual friendy ?....MonHUn is niche title by default no matter the changes will never meet the recognision it deserves ...why fing change it??/

Greg28012494d ago

Maybe you can change it to a hard mode or something for the more expierenced players. That would be nice.

TC7312494d ago

So hyped...MH for big-boy consoles! Finally!

thatguyhayat2494d ago

You and me both! So hyped for this

Brave_Losers_Unite2494d ago

Too bad you aren't a 'big-boy' yet. You'll be able to get it when the PS6 releases.

TC7312494d ago

27 years old and not going to blow money on Nintendo's latest gimmick console. Try harder.

TC7312494d ago

Also, if you're trying to make a point of the hyphen in "big-boy", the context calls for it as "big boy consoles" isn't correct.

Brave_Losers_Unite2494d ago

27 year old who says certain consoles are for big-boys

Idk whats worse, a 13 year old saying that or a 27 year old. Personally I think the latter.

The 10th Rider2494d ago (Edited 2494d ago )

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”

― C.S. Lewis

Replace "adult" with "big-boy" and it fits perfectly.

A Late Look: Monster Hunter: World

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "While it was a mixed pleasure overall - at times exhilarating, at others agonizing - I would have to say I enjoyed my time with Monster Hunter: World and found it to be surprisingly addicting. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that I was surprised by how little had changed from previous titles, given how this particular entry took the series to unheard levels of popularity, but while it retains both positives and negatives from them, at the very least it’s a stellar-looking game that brings more freedom to the hunt than any of its predecessors (Monster Hunter Rise could possibly be a different story, but that, my friends, is a game for another article)."
