Ten high profile games, or expected announcements, that were missing from E3 2017.
Where was Sucker Punch!?
Showing Spider-man gameplay at E3. Edit: I was under the impression that Sucker Punch was the developer for Spider-man when it's in fact Insomniac Games. My bad.
I'm surprised we really got nothing on Red Dead 2.
I was really surprised TLOU 2 wasnt shown but PSX will likely show off the things people were wanting to see.. The way they structured E3 wasnt the route i wouldve taken since there wont be as many people watching PSX or TGS.. E3 is supposed to show retailers as well as gamers what to expect..
Honestly curious here and not trying to be a jerk, but how could anyone possibly think that TLOU2 would be shown at E3 this year? When it was announced last year, Neil Druckmann pretty much came out and said something along the lines of "Hey guys, hold your horses. We're still really really early in development on this one. Don't expect to see this released anytime soon." And then, six months later, everyone is shouting "WHERE IS LAST OF US 2?!" Guess what? Not that much time has passed since he said that. It's probably not even coming out next year, which is when I think we'll really see some actual gameplay for it. PSX this year is even too soon, I think, because we're not going to be getting it until at least 2019. And I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up 2020. I mean, are these the same people that think Death Stranding was a 2017 release? That's not even a 2018 release either.
