Vivendi is considering a hostile bid for Ubisoft by this year-end

Vivendi remains determined to make a hostile move on Ubisoft to gain control of the French company. The move would probably take place later this year.

If true that's terrible news for gaming. Hopefully Ubisoft can find investors with enough capitol to stop it.

Fully agree, they probably saw how Ubisoft had a much better lineup than Activision with less resources and now are trying to take advantage. Vivendi is cancer and I hope Ubisoft stays independent.

Think it's high time MS expand it's publishing field and aquire Ubisoft so vivendi has no chance .

Ubisoft is French Company. The only way to stop Videndi is rely on investors, but it is not easy to do it.

I definitely hope they could get the funding to stop something like this from happening cuz Vivendi is pretty much like AIDS
