Maybe they mean in terms of new announcements. Sony certainly had some great games on show, it's just that not much of it was new. Nintendo was busy showing off brand new games.
Cuz Nintendo barely showed anything off last year at E3.
In terms of the amount of time spent on showing off first party content at the conferences, I'd say Sony and Nintendo were pretty much even.
No because Nintendo didn't need to show Switch games last year.
It's that they didn't need to, it's cuz they couldn't show NX games off last E3 before the official reveal
