New Duke Nukem Forever Screenshots Released

Undecided whether I'm impressed or not. Some of it looks great (flying things in image 2) but some of it looks rather meh (the strippers).

Anyone know what engine their using? Looks rather UE3 like.

isnt bioshock running on UE3? it started out using the modded UE2.5 but then moved on to UE3

Yeah Bioshock is on UE3 modified. There is no way the original UE can render that water shown in Bioshock.

If it is then I'd say it holds its own quite well.

I was worried that this game would be forever in development and so games and technologies would advance around it leaving it behind.

hahahahahaha talk about delusional! SC4 doesn't even have LENS FLARES on PS3 LOOL, and GTA4 runs in SD on PS3 with no AA LOOOL.

the 360 version of GTA4 looks like soemone smeared vasline on teh camera. anthey prolly didnt add lens flares to the PS3 version of SC cause the PS3 port team prolly relized lens flares are for 1980 photoshop users. Are you actually stupid enough to think the PS3 cant hand a lens flare? HAHAHAHAHA . Im so glad Crytek says they love the PS3 and not the 360.

Well, no matter how good or bad the game looks, I'll be getting it because:
A. I have tried to get as many Duke games as possible because Duke Nukem rules.
B. OMG, It's Duke Nukem Forever. The game that has been in developement since my early teenage years.
C. I'm curious.

It looks kind of funny, like somewhat decent textures in a very old engine, the lack af AA in the first shot makes it look too much like a ps2 game.

The second one looks better I suppose...

It must be incredible hard to do a good story line for duke nukem. Because everything that is to Duke nukem is extremely cheesy.
* The name of the main character.
* Strippers doing thier thing even while aliens have invaded the earth.
* An ordinary guy (Duke Nukem) with absolutly no history or background in the military (which we know of) takes on a whole alien invasion by himself.
* And on top of that he has no super human strenght like Natan hale or Master chief.

Not even Hideo kojima can work with this to make the story even slightly none brainless. Shoot, look at hockers and run, that about summs up the Duke Nukem franchise.

Tough if the game comes out amazing then IMO the whole world should give the developers of it an random set of applause.

You must be have been born in the DOS era of gaming. Duke had came from a time that you really didn't need all that stuff. Lara had the same beginnings when she appeared in gaming. You fail.

I don't lose interest in a game just because it takes a while to be released. Doesn't make much sense to me to do that.

All right, these look good. Can't wait to play this with my buddy on some co-op! The puzzles, the enemies, the bosses! Yea I can't wait screw a story when you're playing Duke, just shoot some aliens and move on!

this game is gonna be awesome, its not gonna suck if you ever played dn3d, and the strippers look good its still in developement which means they are probably still polishing it
