Undecided whether I'm impressed or not. Some of it looks great (flying things in image 2) but some of it looks rather meh (the strippers).

Anyone know what engine their using? Looks rather UE3 like.

MK_Red3646d ago

Dude, what's wrong with strippers?

But seriously, I think the engine is a modified version of Unreal 2.5 Engine (like BioShock).

Fishy Fingers3646d ago

I like my strippers without jaggies bro ;)

MK_Red3646d ago

Uh, the problem is with the ones shown in the screenshot. I hear you though I prefer them to be 2D sprites... wait a mintue.

isnt bioshock running on UE3? it started out using the modded UE2.5 but then moved on to UE3

El_Colombiano3646d ago

Yeah Bioshock is on UE3 modified. There is no way the original UE can render that water shown in Bioshock.

outlawlife3645d ago

its their own engine, and apparently it likes to make everything look plastic

El_Colombiano3645d ago

Well the UE3 makes everything look like bumpy plastic...have you not seen Marcus Fenix's face?

lets just hope it doesnt turn out to be another too human - forever in development then final product = poo

coolfool3646d ago

If it is then I'd say it holds its own quite well.

I was worried that this game would be forever in development and so games and technologies would advance around it leaving it behind.
