Can't wait, will be rad on the go

MVGeneral2518d ago

Lol but it looks awful. And the battery only lasts 2 hours anyway.

Mexxan2518d ago

Looks damn good to me, I'll be playing through out the day and when I'm in front of the TV - you?

sinjonezp2517d ago

@mexxan

I'm sorry, I can't agree with you. It looks washed out and awful looking. Shadows are non existent, textures look like ps2.4 and it's choppy. I love the Switch but this game looks bad.

MVGeneral2517d ago

@mexxan throughout the day. I will be socializing with people. Talking to family members and my girlfriend. Instead of staring into a shoddy screen with ps2 graphics. Then I'll go home and play fifa on my 60" with surround sound and party chat and proper online and actually enjoy the breathtaking graphics.

Lol you nintendards don't know when to quit, do ya?

TekoIie2517d ago

@MVGeneral

*throughout the day. I will be socializing with people. Talking to family members and my girlfriend on the internet*

FTFY

In all seriousness dude your on the Internet arguing about virtual worlds. Don't act like your better than anyone else here.

MVGeneral2517d ago (Edited 2517d ago )

@TekoIie

I'm actually on mobile, but that's besides the point. But Yeah i can safely say I'm better than nintendards. That I can guarantee. We have lived outside gaming and internet. We play on our free and down times. Nintendards want crappy graphics and low battery capacity so they can play on the go and avoid social contact.
Someone like you.

TekoIie2517d ago (Edited 2517d ago )

@MVGeneral

"I'm actually on mobile"

So your arguing on your phone about something other people like instead of socialising while you're out? Man you sure showed me buddy.

Also keep using "Nintendards" because it's a nice little indicator of your maturity level when it's all you can call people.

It's taken from this trailer which has the game running in handheld mode, he just zoomed in on the footage which blurs it out.

mcstorm2518d ago

Hi good shout also looks better than I thought. If each want this to sell well on the switch they need to make it a complete game rather than a poor game like the wiiu or psv had

Testfire2518d ago

Which is most likely a bullshot anyway. This article should never have been approved.

ocelot072518d ago

Looks awful but am sure this was the same gameplay from the fifa trailer revealed at the switch reveal. Meaning it's old.

2pacalypsenow2518d ago

Looks like a ps3/x360 game....

KilKarazy2518d ago

It will most likely look identical to those, since sports games are still being made for last gen systems.

AngelicToucH2518d ago (Edited 2518d ago )

Switch is basically a gen3 console in terms of power (ps3/360), don't know why you're so surprised.

2518d ago
davand1142518d ago

It's a zoomed in video of footage from a commercial that's why it looks so blurry.

PlayStation Had The Chance To Steal FIFA From EA In The '90s, But Passed

"I think EA would have responded quite badly to that"

If there’s an organization that is more corrupt than EA, it’s for sure FIFA.

I also agree that EA has done more for FIFA on brand awareness too. I know of people that thought FIFA was an EA brand similar to Madden instead of their own independent organization.

Profchaos192d ago

Probably a good call on Sony's part given the relationship they needed to build with ea over time and given the era if EA didn't want something they found ways around it such as building their own unlicensed games and bypassing console copyright protection on 16 bit systems to avoid paying licensing

XiNatsuDragnel192d ago

Fifa with playstation I would've preferred that over EA now tbh.

Seraphim191d ago

guess you don't remember how bad those Sony sports titles were in the 90s. The only exception would be NBA Shootout '97 which was phenomenal.

shinoff2183191d ago

Idk what that means. Nfl GameDay was fun as fk.

FinalFantasyFanatic191d ago

I never liked sports games personally, except for ESPN Extreme Games, that was fun for me back in the day.

gold_drake191d ago

the Fifa people are some of the scummiest people there is, even outside of the gaming industry.

good on that sony ceo for actually talking to EA first and letting them know what happened.

anast191d ago

The career mode would have been way better.

First I don't think ms would get the nod, they wouldn't be able to get away with it being exclusives. Second it's to big of a game to just put on gamepass and call it a day. I think Konami , sega or 2k could do it justice.

Knightofelemia372d ago

Konami made or should I say farmed out a soccer game and it was a piece of broken shit.

XbladeTeddy372d ago

Konami making a football game? Just no. They dropped the ball on that one with their poor version.

EA have cemented a name for themselves with football games. Minus the crappy practises the core gameplay is unbeaten.

badboyz09373d ago

2K are the best option they also just purchased The Top Eleven Developer's in 2021.

TheColbertinator373d ago

Even if you get the license, what matters is getting the clubs and leagues that matter to fans. I'd pay good money to anyone who can get every team in the Top 5 Leagues and their stadiums to boot. EA has come close.

XbladeTeddy372d ago

"Even if you get the license, what matters is getting the clubs and leagues that matter to fans"

No, gameplay matters most. EA will do that without a license.

franwex373d ago

They could, but the price is obscene.

FIFA’s New Game Decisions Make EA Games Looks Better

Gamerterra writes: "FIFA recently announced its first four games after its long-term partnership with EA ended, and these new games make EA games look really consumer friendly. All four ‘games’ are blockchain projects built with Web 3.0 for the 2022 World Cup."

That's like saying Mephistopheles is nicer than Satan.

anast523d ago

This is funny, even EA thought FIFIA's blockchain proposal was too much.
