When Jurgen Post joined the Sega Europe head office, the publisher wasn't in good shape. In fact, when he took the role of COO and president in 2012, the firm was in desperate need of a new direction.
Sega you f***** up huge you had so many insanely loyal fans that you got it when you killed the Dreamcast and then your games just went to total s***it's so unfortunate I still have a Genesis and a Dreamcast tucked under my TV next to the PS4 and Xbox One. You were my number one Saga and there's a lot of guys like me that would have bought any system you launched. It took me awhile but I fully realize now that the Sega of my youth the Sega that I love died with the Dreamcast there's none of you left.
Wow. Still mad about all that? That is one hell of a grudge.
Xb1 2013 reveal bro my grudge
@Xi, The difference is you are upset over a false perception. Sega simply ran out of money and couldn't exist as a platform holder.
@Death A lot of people got pissed off with that DRM BS
Yea chill dude...Sega doesn't owe you anything.
"I told Post that, anecdotally, I often hear the phrase: "What does Sega even do anymore?" People forget that Total War, Football Manager, Dawn of War and Company of Heroes are Sega IP." It's not that people forget that those are SEGA IPs; it's that they don't care about those IPs. Those IPs are not even on the radar.
Yeah, people assume all they do is Sonic but that's not true with what you've mentioned is on PC.
Please sega don't stray from the gaming ninja way
Sega is not the same company we all knew in the 90's or early 2000's.
Gaming in general isn't the same.
They rely on Sonic Bollocks too much. Instead of innovating they just make more Sonic and his furry friends crap.
Sega still kicks out some badass games, Bayonnetta, Binary Domain, Yakuza,... To name a few.
Just give me Shenmui.
SEGA put out some incredible games from console to arcade, I still love them.
Sega is the one third party publisher that has a back catalog to robust enough to launch a full fledged campaign back into the console race. It's unfortunate that Sega has a long track record of irrational and stupid decisions. Which is the reason why we don't have a current gen Sega console today. Hopefully this Amazing Sega campaign is their slow climb back to brilliance. When Sega left the console business, they left a huge void that has not been filled yet. Dark Sniper is praying they continue to make greatness for this generation and beyond. $niper
As long as you keep pushing pc with your paltry 146,000 units sold and calling that a success I highly doubt it. O and your garbage mobile games. Sad thing is you use to be my favorite for 3 gens now you just disgust me.
