"Hearthstone is one of my most played games at the moment. I love it to death but it would be so much more accessible if it were on console."

GamesIndustry.biz writes: "Relic is best known for the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War games, and recently developed the new Age of Empires for Microsoft. Relic will transition to an independent studio and will no-longer be part of the Sega group of studios.
The majority of the 240 job cuts are across Creative Assembly and Sega Europe, while there will be a ‘small number’ cut from Sega HARDLight. There was no mention of other Sega UK studios, including Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive."
Gearbox Entertainment has been purchased by Take-Two from Embracer Group.
Good as it should have been better then Embracer pawning them off to the next company like say Tencent.
It’s good to see at least some of Embracer’s studios escaping its embrace of death. A company the size of Embracer was doomed to fail due to low revenue.
Genuine Enabling Technology was seeking damages, claiming the tech allowing PlayStation consoles and controllers to communicate infringes its rights.
Sounds like patent trolling they tried the same thing against Nintendo with the same pattern.
Motion and control input traversing over higher and lower frequencies seperate from each other allowing the controller to do both
So to recoup the money Genuine is going to take on Nintendo or Microsoft next. I hate patent lawyers they are some of the worst bottom feeders out there.
They probably figure since it's already on phones, that not enough people will play it to be worth the investment.
Bc they hate money.
I don't think the console fanbase in general is interested in it. Sure there are plenty of people who own consoles who play it but they point is they already own it on their phones, with PS4 and XB1 you cannot play on the go and with Switch the battery life is atrocious when compared to an android or iPhone so why bother at all?
It's really suited to mouse or touchscreen controls, it would likely feel awful and clunky on a controller.
