OXM UK: Pure Review

OXM UK writes: "Black Rock Studios, formerly Climax (of MotoGP fame), has a rich history of putting together deep but slightly over-techy racing sims, and so it's a great surprise how accessible and fun Pure is.

You take the helm of an ATV - quad bikes, in layman's terms - that you personally construct and name, and enter a series of competitions, making ridiculous, gravity-defying jumps and pulling off dangerous tricks that will worry mothers everywhere.

Controlling your bike is a simple, arcadey affair, with the caveat of having to flick the Left analogue stick down and then up to jump at the very end of jumps."

Uppers:
Accessible to anyone
Great fun from the off
Track design is sublime
Looks lovely

Downers:
Single-player lacks depth
