See the Future at Wired NextFest

Millennium Park - Chicago's $475 million ode to its future - is constantly watched over by rangers on Segways who glide around the park's public art and plazas like hallway monitors from the future.

And for the next two weeks, the guards will keep an eye on the WiredNextFest 2008 pavilion, which will be showing off bits of the future - ranging from self-healing robots to a human-powered car - to thousands of park visitors.

The story is too old to be commented.
